Chromate allows you to color correct the active clip in Davinci with your mouse. You get access to the basic functions Slope, Offset, Power in the first node in Davinci Resolve.
Chromate lets you grade in Slope, Offset, Power. These values are similar to Lift, Gamma and Gain, short LGG. Roughly speaking, Gain is about the same as Slope and Power is about the same as Gamma. Lift does not exist but we have Offset instead. So you can lower or raise single or multiple channels red, green, blue via SOP.
With Chromate you get exact control to values Slope, Offset, Power up to 5 digits after the decimal point. It's accurate.
You can only grade in the first node in Davinci Resolve Studio. You can only manipulate Slope, Offset, Power and Saturation
You would have to activate Chromate only once and then you will have Chromate for at least one month before you have to go back to the internet to renew your license.
